Is Mark Cavendish going to break the 34 stage win record of Eddy Merxx? It he does, is it worth less considering Caleb Ewan and Tim Merlier are out of the race already?

I don’t think it should be worth less given that Ewan and Merlier are out because it is still an incredible achievement (and one that he wouldn’t be able to get if he wasn’t dominate in years prior). he should be able to claim 34+ assuming he can struggle through the rest of the mountains this year.
I think it’s just crazy 1 person can win that many tdf stages.
