Moved from AE to Sales Manager, any advice?

Hey All,

Recently made the jump from AE to sales manager, and hoping I can get some advice here from anyone that's done the same.

What is the most effective way to manage a week between 1:1s, coaching, pipe crawls, etc.?

Thanks

I did the change over to AE to SDR manager last year. The biggest thing I can give is to make sure you stay on top of your team's advice.

They know your adjusting to the new role so just take their advice and ask them what they would like to see from you.

Also for your 1:1's book, those in and set them to be recurring. It sets the tone that you will be meeting every week and not just sending them an invite when you remember to meet.

Hopefully, that helps!

I think 1 on 1 is a very good start because it gives you all breathing room with feedback as well. Just avoid micromanaging undeliberatly. This can happen by being too caring and having a weekly checkup it will be viewed in the wrong way regadless of your intentions.
