bros I'm moving to a voice, messaging apis, enterprise apis, and 911 apis. if anyone has any experience in selling these types of services I'd love to know what your are reading/watching
Whenever moving to a new segment my go-to is to dive into as many customer calls early on whether live or recorded.
Focus on the ICP and really understanding them and it will make the transition so much easier.

It's a race to zero and the big companies are winning. Hope you have a strong network. Good luck.

Seems you are US based. At least Telco is fairly simple since it's mainly VoIP virtual switchboards vs. the old school ones / VoIP and simcards. Am I right?
Which industry are you coming from if I may ask?
As always, setup as many discovery calls as possible. Learn there current processes and lingo, and then it's much easier to build a logical case about your services. I used to work for 3(b2b) and there was mainly one reason we won. It was the fact that it could be used all over the world without extra charges. So I quickly knew it was those accounts I needed to prospect into and quickly found the ideal customer profile.
Also our VoIP switchboard they could control themselves (think thats standard today) where as with other providers they needed to phone an account manager to make changes in the routing.
Today most services have a VoIP element involved. So figure out what risks/consequences they avoid through those along with where the benefits/value of your provider lays. It's really your job in this industry to "paint images/stories"
