This deal took 2.5 months, and is the fastest intro call to deal close in my company's history. But it really started a couple years ago when I was at a trade show, running demos and meeting prospects at our exhibitor booth. Someone I demoed to and stayed in touch with was Tena F., a Nurse Manager of Special Care Nursery, at a small hospital. Turns out Tena left her job for a more senior role at a new hospital. When it came time to evaluate new feeding management systems for their neonatal and pediatric units, she recommended their consultants (hired to evaluate systems that would integrate with their electronic medical record) contact me. So I was fast tracked from intro call, to demos, to selected vendor status, to working out the details of implementation, go-live, and platform licensing so fast it made my head spin. So glad to get this three-hospital sale!
