i have the Proform bike. not bad, but not great by any means. it gets my fat ass sweating, but that's not hard. I want the Nordic Track bike. great quality, smooth ride and great classes. much cheaper than Peloton.ย

Same vein, but I'm looking for a compact rower now.

COVID has decimated availability of equipment.ย

I love the peloton instructors. There's better bikes but no better community. So if you're community motivated, join our cult. If you are self motivated, I'd get a cheaper option.

I love the Peloton app, it has all different workouts including yoga, strength, streching, running, HITT, and more! They have a variety of time lengths ranging from 5 minutes to 1 hour long classes. Perfect to fit into your schedule as you can do them anywhere!

Hope Im not too late to the game here. Ive been using an Echelon Bike since 2021 with the QZ app and Peloton App. Its a pretty great setup and saved me thousands of dollars. You do need 2 tablets or phones though.

1) Get a bike. I have this one https://www.amazon.com/Echelon-EX-15-Smart-Connect-Fitness/dp/B08K4GS4KN/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2T7IYY7IXOBON&keywords=echelon+connect+sport&qid=1689010673&refresh=1&sprefix=echelon+connect+sport%2Caps%2C94&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

2) Download and sign up for Peloton App. Then download QZ and put into your Peloton info. Theres a QZ facebook group with lots of FAQ too.

3) Get on the bike. Pick the peloton class. when the timer hits zero, on the other phone/tablet, open QZ and they sync up. The QZ app will tell you the Echelon resistance automatically.

Optional - Connect QZ to Strava to keep all your workout records.

It takes a couple times to get used to it, but its easy and its a $400 bike + 20 a month instead of a 1500 bike plus $40 a month.
