Started at a great SaaS organization about a month ago. Everything is great so far; enablement, my manager, market leading product BUT my territory is looking pretty weak. It's a lot less accounts than I would have expected and reps already in seat have taken a good chunk of the target accounts in my region. The org is aggressively expanding the Sales org so hiring reps everywhere and shrinking territories. I know this is the typical model when growth companies are scaling but I'm kinda worried it's going to be a long shot to hit my number for the year.
Just wondering if my peeps here have experienced this and how have you handled it in your careers. Also, is it fair to ask in the interview process for your accounts before you accept the offer?
