my saasiversary!

so Facebook reminded me that on this day years ago I started my first job in saas as an SDR.

I had been in financial services for 4.5 years being full commission for most of it. Leaving that industry was for sure a major turning point in my life.

What I was looking for:

-Base plus commission job, so I would know i could pay my fucking mortgage even if Sandy didnt by a life insurance policy from me!

-A B2B role so I could stop calling people I know or having to go into strangers homes. Calling friends and family was the absolute WORST for me.

-Something where I could work from an office and not drive all over the place, since I lived 30 min from the office but my last appointment could be an hour from there.

-Better hours so I could be home when my son woke up and be home before he went to sleep.

When I look back on it, i had pretty simple requests but Im glad I landed where I did and have been able to make it work!

heres to many more years in this crazy profession!
