Nat Geo: Salespeople Across Cultures

I'm the only Aussie / APAC AE in a very American/Euro centric sales team. It's got me curious about the different sales approaches that we all have. What's a good aspect and a bad aspect of how you and your country people approach sales.

Being Australian I can say that Aussie people approach sales very laidback but very matter-of-fact. We like to talk shit but get shit done.

a negative is that we're *too* chilled out. and we swear a lot. and we small talk a lot.

How would you guys explain sales culture from where you're from?

Being chilled out is quite a plus when it comes to talking to prospects.

Apart from that, what do you do uniquely different to your colleagues?

I worked with an Aussie in the past. You guys are awesome colleagues. Are you all that cold blooded?
