Navigating career change?

Been in my industry for 8 years as an outbound business development & account executive. Have seen some success but not without its mistakes or failures. At a cross road of continuing on this industry that’s been my career or follow a new path that allows me to lean into my strengths while working in an industry that’s providing more coaching and growth opportunities.

How have you all navigated any career change?

Best,

Always be moving forward... when your current position has little/nothing more to provide... move on.

The first 3 months are legit hard. If it ain't getting better post 3 months, good chance it isn't going to at all.

My total career move (tech-> publishing) has been the best move I’ve made in my entire career. If it no longer serves you, it deserves to be relegated to your resume.

I should mention- I was a top performer in my space on tech, too. I just was no longer interested in the actual product. It was time to go. ✌🏻

Made the jump! Officially departing from the insurance industry and transitioning to tech firm with common goals and an advantageous partnership value proposition.

Appreciate you all ✌🏼
