Need a hobby - Working strictly from home. Suggestions?

I know some of us so much want this era of WFH to end but until it happens, let me know what ideas you implement to pass your time and/or manage your routine.

P.S. I work in Night shifts ๐ŸŒƒ

I have the opposite problem - too many hobbies working at home. Drones, gaming, disc golf, endurance sports, volunteering, woodworking, landscape projects, teaching a dog tricks, mountain biking, swimming, disc golf, wakeboarding, skateboarding, getting industry certs, etc...

It was intentional. I disc golf twice as much as any other hobby. Itโ€™s becoming an addiction ๐Ÿ˜‚ my wife thinks Iโ€™m cheating on her when I meet my friends at 6am (sunrise) to get a round in before workย

I haven't gotten any new sets for a while, but I was messing with Lego sets for a few months. Can be a fun way to get your mind off work and focus on something else.ย

I have taken up yoga and some at-home exercise, getting back into music and reading (mostly sales/business books). Also like growing houseplants. Brightens up my work space and is satisfying when you learn to keep them alive

No worries! Thoughts on coffee as a hobby? It's an incredibly complex rabbit hole to dive down with tons of things to learn. It's been my obsession (see username) for the past 4-5 years or so!

I'm all about that cold brew life for the summers here in the North Eastern US...but once I got into espresso I started making lots of different iced drinks. But hey, if it's not for you then it's all good!

Do you exercise? Because if you start really putting effort into that (yoga, cardio, weightlifting), you can make that time consuming quickly.

Dude, ask yourself 3 questions
What do I like doing?
Can I do this 1 to 2 hrs per day and still feel good?
Do I feel happy after doing this?

Any suggestion is garbage if the answer of the last 2 no. The main starting point is listing things you enjoy doing.

Big fan of either sports (to clear your head) or developing any skill relevant for side hustles. If you do something outside of work, always a nice benefit if you can earn $$$ off of it, no? Crypto investing, affiliate marketing, dropshipping, ... You know, anything that can set you apart. Good luckย

I've got a bit of a weird one. I really enjoy cooking and have started finding ways to chop veggies as efficiently as possible. I watch YouTube vids of "best way to chop an onion" for example. Then I throw on a podcast or audio book and get to chopping!

I picked up golf during the initial onset of covid and have recently started taking tennis lessons. On top of that, and as nerdy as it sounds. I started diving into Magic the Gathering. A lot of pro poker players are into it and the strategy behind it is stimulating. Want to see if a regular guy can come in a dominate the pro tourย
