Need to know if this is a stupid idea - would you find this small product valuable? (feedback appreciated)

I've been manually sending my discovery call transcripts to an AI via an API (not chatGPT) and asking it to pull my discovery fields (think MEDDIC) so I can easily put them into salesforce + summarize some notes for me. Saves me a ton of time.


Its saved me so much time that I am considering building something that automatically does this for me (likely a zoom app + salesforce integration). If I do, is there anyone out there who would also like to use it (for free of course)?


P.S. I know there are a few companies out there who do something similar like Winn.ai, but I can't find anything that actually keeps my sfdc fields up to date.

Yeah. You'd get an email after your call with all of the fields already filled out and then you'd just hit "approve" or something like that.

ok so if I'm following, you have fields in your SFDC that you have to update for every opp and this product would pull that info from your call transcripts and update it for you?

So your call transcripts get sent to the AI automatically?

I feel like....this could be helpful.....but idk if I would do it hahaha!

Yeah thats the general idea - I've been using the Ai to do it recently and it has actually returned better inputs than I would have done myself. If I end up building it I might have you give it a try.

yes this sounds amazing! All my calls are recorded anyway so I would love to have SF auto update MEDDIC notes/next steps. A company spending money on it…um call me next year.

The version I use now took me about 3 hrs. but the version that I want to build will probably take me a few weeks.

I haven’t, I will look into it. I thought they were more for notes and a better salesforce UI like scratchpad

AE’s - here’s a very client-centred way to gather information about ‘WHEN’ a decision needs to be made. Doing it this way will help you shorten sales cycles and build trust. Keep in mind - not every question I ask in this example is a perfect fit for every buyer, but should give you a good place
