New Bravado Idea: Company Blacklist

Inspired by @Kirby's post and subsequent quitting, I think there should be a company blacklist (and whitelist) where we can raise flags on who and who not to work for.
It's a problem that plagues our profession and I'd love to not waste my time at a sand trap of a company.

I think the poster should include a description for their reasoning, whether if it's workplace conditions, anecdotal stories, etc.

Think of all of the time, emotion, false hope, etc that could be saved by avoiding the lengthy interview processes at these firms? I AM HERE FOR THIS. 💯

AGREED, this could actually be even more impactful to a Sales Career than the Performance Index.

This is the way. Like a more genuine Glassdoor where we actually trust the responses (to some degree).

For those responding about RepVue…I said for Bravado. r/sales exists but here we are. There is no Bravado “edge” to RepVue or similar. I want unfiltered honesty and Corp Bro crazy ass stories as why to join or avoid orgs.

What about having a field when you make a submission that has to include a crazy ass story.

RepVue has a lot of places rate highly that I happen to know suck though.

To add, the poster would be anonymous. Not even username unless wanting to show.

what would be a game changer is a platform for sellers to rate buyers, or companies, with info like "do they follow through with promises?" or "how long did procurement take?" or "how difficult is the legal review process?" or "is this buyer a true champion or a waste of time?".    This could put more incentive on buyers to be honest, fair, and transparent, otherwise sales teams won't want to work with them.

Would be so electric! Would love to see reviews where people are only posting because they truly have something great or awful to say about a company rather than reviewing because the CEO asked everyone at the company to do so in a mass email.

Great idea, as I'm hesitant to respond to folks that ask me what it's like working at my current company because they are considering it. Reason being I could totally see my company using this as a sneaky ass way to see "who is loyal".

I worked for one of the best companies in the world who had “anonymous” feedback tools. Shit was never anonymous. Saw people get fired for their feedback. There is no loyalty amongst career-altering truths.

I'd be down for this! I want to share more, but I'm honestly still slightly paranoid that someone could track my identity down on here if they wanted to badly enough. So anonymous would be the way.

I think this is a good idea but it is always hard to tell when someone is em leaning what actually happened, if they are dramatic and making it sound worse, or maybe they are not making it sound bad enough. It is hard to find the happy middle because everyone always has a different story.

This is an absolutely brilliant idea. Yes, yes, yes. Unfortunately given how many people here have worked in start-ups and shared personal details, it could be easy to ID some folks. Might need to think of another level of anonymous posting.

This is a great idea @fuzzy! Having thousands of company pages with unique, user-generated content would also really help our SEO ranking :)

Will definitely add this one to the roadmap.
