New Fiscal Year approaching...when do you get your comp plans?

Another year, another quota. We are wrapping up our FY21 and are eagerly awaiting our FY22 comp plans because we switched from a subscription to a consumption commercial model.

I’ve never seen a comp plan until at least 2 months in to the new year...are you all in the same boat or are you one of the lucky ones that see it before the year starts?

When I have run sales teams at a small company I made sure to plan in advance and have plans really close to the start of the year.
In my current large company we are two months in and its crickets. So bad they give draws for the first few months because there is no plan.
Leaders: be good leaders. Plan in advance.
Peons: be patient and think about interviewing in the months where you have no plan. Get your BATNA ready for when you get a shit quota and bad territory.
