New Year Sales Kickoff Strategy Topics

Running a Sales Strategy Kickoff in July. Looking for potential topics that I could cover:

The team have made it clear they dont want the same old product and demo training. They want realistic sales training.

Keen to hear the war rooms thoughts....

Here's what you do. Take them to Venezuela. Make them live for 6 months there. Have them navigate that shitshow. The ones that make it out, will have learned more than any training you could give them Stateside.Β

Ask them for details. Sounds too general.Β

Probably need a little more detail but why don’t you have a look at where most deals fall down.Β

is it price? Perhaps work on value selling, pain points or negotiationΒ

Is your sales cycle longer than you’d like? Perhaps work on deal control or understanding the timeline.Β

its always worthwhile doing an overview of your process, but drilling down into specific segments that will have a bigger impact for most will be great.Β

mother thoughts might be to add a deal clinic or anatomy of a deals so that everyone can see all the steps etcΒ

- Cutting out the grey area in a yes or no decision.
- getting ahead of legal, procurement and price negotiationsΒ
- if you (the manager) we’re a rep how would you prospect map and account and hunt for business?
- pull up a random closed lost late in the process and discuss why it was lost and what you could have done differently to help the teamΒ
- pull up a closed win and vice versa from the point above.Β
