Honestly, there is nothing that interests me about the new model. I have my switch since right at the beginning but there is not enough for me to upgrade. I play docked so the new screen really doesnt matter. 

Was hoping for a lot more upgrades but Nintendo is the king of making questionable decisions.

A new kickstand, really? how often did u actually use it?

sure for new players to the switch its worth the extra 50-100$ but to swap from v2 to this , i would 100% not

I see where you are coming from, but it’s a great investment for handheld players. The screen will have better lighting and will be wider. For docked players you have the LAN which is huge for online play (that alone does it for me) and the new kickstand looks like it will actually work, unlike the old one.

That being said if none of these features resonate with you, if you mainly use it docked and don’t play much online there is no reason for you to upgrade at all. These features are not enough for most of the players. 

Personally, every time a new model comes I buy it and sell my current one so I always get the best years of the new hardware, but the average player will never need to do this.
