I am just at the point where I am not going to work extra just to work. It's one reason I stuck to sales - I will work when there is an opp worth the work, I will be efficient and professional, and the rest of the time I will enjoy life. I am still attached to 10-20x ACV of my salary, everyone wins.

I think quiet quitting is really not people being lazy, it's the realization that we as an industry bridged the productivity gap but operations practices never evolved so it requires less actual work to do the job you were hired for. So instead of hamster wheeling to look busy or feel "hustle" - do your work, when it is done, you go for a walk.

that's definitely something I've come to the realization of lately. With modern tech jobs that were 40+ hour a week jobs a few years ago, can easily be done in far less time now. I don't think I've worked a full 40 hour week in years, yet I consistently crush goals and am a top performer on my team. We just don't require the same amount of time to do things we used to.

Mostly 3 for me.

Love that they've slapped a cute name onto what really is knowing how to draw boundaries between work and personal life. Walking away from the laptop/phone at the end of a work day is healthy.

I think option 2 is a reflection of options 1 & 3.

I think its a mix of all 3.

People are getting tired of false promises from companies that they find out are lies after they start the job.

A lot of people are getting lazier and don't want to work hard anymore. This is definitely not the case for all people, but definitely some.

Companies don't value giving their employees a good work/life balance and people are getting fed up with it. They don't want their only purpose in life to be going to work. They're beginning to value time with friends and family to rest, relax, and enjoy life over having a higher income.

Have you ever had to give up on a guaranteed sale because of a conflict of interest?

How do you all handle a situation where a prospect has a contract approved and is ready for signature, but one of their family members just passed away? Want to be extremely sensitive to the situation...feel there's never a "right" time to reach out and never want to be salesy...
