% of income saved?

Hello sales people!

What percentage of your gross income do you save? Whether it is 401k, brokerage account, rainy day fund, Roth IRA, etc. I want to know.

I am more focused on money management and how much I save versus how much I make. I know as long as I am disciplined with my money, save accordingly, do not overspend, live within reason that I can live the life I want to lead and not stress over money.

Usually stash away ~30% of base salary (savings, stocks, etc) but it fluctuates

I use any commission checks exclusively for savings and never touch it

Good thread here:  https://bravado.co/war-room/posts/how-much-of-your-paycheck-are-you-investing

Looks like average is 20%-55% saved per month.

Do you still feel comfortable using Robinhood after what happened with GME?

Blow it up
At least 10% of every paycheque (salary) is saved, almost 100% of all commission is saved as well unless I've been bad then they pay off debt.

After everything is paid I used to do 33% into: savings, investment, spend. Now those numbers are different cause I don't buy dumb shit anymore (not because I got smarter or more disciplined, I didn't grow up, just ran outta dumb shit to buy). But I would follow a similar rule, youd be surprised how quick those all add up.

15% of every gross cheque. You do it early enough you live within those means. Even bonus/OT/commission. 15% of gross. Saved. I like Ark ETFs and Crypto.

Ark ETFs have taken a hit recently. I sold out for a good return. I am more in crypto which dipped recently. Still long on it. Cathie Wood is really smart, her funds should continue to perform long term regardless of recent challenges.

Cathie fan boi here. I'm a long term investor; I think she's on the mark for my kids college fund. I'm happy to stay.
