I'm light as a feather, my friend. Didn't mean to sound aggressive or angry! Just honest about where I am in life and where I plan to be. I've just witnessed orgs where reps treat BDRs like dirt, and others where BDRs are mentored and treated with respect. And, in my humble opinion, the latter results in much better people and sales reps. So I guess it's a bit of a 'passionate' topic for me :)
BDR's shouldn't be treated like dirt. But it's an entry level job, and being one builds character. Embrace it my friend, it's an unforgettable experience and it will make your next promotion that much more rewardingย
I do agree that we shouldn't be treated like full-fledged reps. That's something you work towards and earn. But damn am I looking forward to getting the hell out of this role!
