Opinion on the win stories

Quick question for you wizards! What is your opinion on the share win stories on this platform? While I think it's a fantastic idea, I'm hesitant on providing my customer's name for privacy reasons (I work on the partner side of the house in IT and frequently sell cyber security tools). With all the shit going on in the industry right (regarding ransomware and security breaches) it doesn't seem like a great idea to share information. Again, I think it's a great idea and love reading the stories.

Let me know your thoughts.

We have NDAs so I don't provide the client's name - it's optional.

There is an option to leave both department and company name private when you post. This is an example with company name set to private:  <removed post>

The rest of the data you put in is totally up to you, so you can make it as detailed or as vague as you feel comfortable.

Thanks! Didn’t know it could be private. I am also selling cyber security.

You're free to leave out the client's name and department you're selling into.  I enjoy the win wire.  Non-sales people don't seem to understand the joy of closing the same way.

No marketing, mayo isn't an MQL
Love the win wire - as an SDR at a small startup good to read about other sales professionals crushing it.

Would just keep it private and share the story without choice details that give 'er all away
