Organizing events

What's up savages! Now that Covid is over, my boss wants me to start planning some events and traveling to my territory later this year in the Mid-Atlantic. I'll most likely do some channel partner events as well but I'm tired of the standard Top Golf or dinner w/speaker format.

Curious what are the most creative events that you've ever been to/heard about to invite customers to?

Events to sell at or to support customers at? Boondoggles or legit business events? Need more info.

That said - I have done a couple shooting events (clays, etc.) which have been well received in the past.

Events that we (or our channel partners) can invite potential customers to that are fun but we can also build pipeline from.

Love the shooting events idea but not sure if those go well in the mid-atlantic or not.

I've found that when upper management demands to be on every call over x employees or revenue that it muddles the conversation. Worse yet, it muddles who should have control in the cycle because after that call you know your exec is going to say "ok, you've got this, right?"
