Dude starts with a textbook 1st step in a LI sequence. Personalized the outreach by referencing a post. "I enjoyed your thoughts on shaking up the sales model at..." A+
He's got my attention. Dude actually read a post. Then, in sentence 2, the nose-insertion gets a bit thick, "Your knack for scaling companies and operational efficiency aligns with my company's mission. Let's connect! Cheers!"
I'm still under the ether of sentence 1, and he's a founder. So I politely tell him his project is interesting and connect. Then, the wheels come off. He goes straight into discovery, using an actual interview question in his step #2. This outreach is so generically inappropriate and canned, I want to puke.
Any guess what this guy is selling?
Yep, AI sales outreach.
It absolutely blows.
