Outreach or SalesLoft..??

Most of us that come from an SDR/BDR background would have come across either Outreach or SalesLoft at some point.


Now that I've been an AE for 2 years, I'm trying to decide what tool is better for this role... would love to hear your opinion so I can build a better case for the AVP!

Whats a better tool for AE's?

There are lower cost alternatives in the market.  But I suppose its important to ask yourself why you need the tool?

I like both. They're pretty similar but I think I like SalesLoft just a bit more.

we switched from outreach to salesloft and then recently switched back to outreach. biggest issue with salesloft was having to navigate to the salesloft webapp. what we love about outreach is the robust extension.... makes it really easy to import new contacts, add to sequences and send emails from SFDC/LinkedIn

I just went through this vetting process. I ended up bringing on Salesloft. I also looked at Yesware and a few others. 

The deciding factor was that although I think Outreach may look a little cleaner, Salesloft is simple and works. 

One of the benefits I found is that Linkedin actually uses Salesloft, and so the integration I know would work from that side. I do know the majority of my friends in SaaS now have Outreach, and I think both are solid options but the buying process was much easier with Salesloft than Outreach which ultimately led to me going with them.

In our case, neither. Our market is heavily commoditized, especially in the US so to cut through we bespoke every email.
