Outsourcing your lead sourcing ?

I currently started a new AE role where I also have to also research and find all my leads.


For my previous business, I used to outsource this part has it's very time-consuming.


Would it make for as an AE to outsource the lead sourcing ?


That way I would have more time to do demos, cold calls, email.

I used to sell outsourced SDRs back in the day. Had one ENT AE that I sold to who paid us out of his own pocket as his pockets were deep and he felt his time was better spent further down the funnel.

Truth be told, I'd rather do it myself than pay someone else to do it. You're really just rolling the dice whenever you outsource this stuff.

It's not a bad thing to do, but you also don't know what you are getting at that point. Depends on what kind of lead generation you invest into.

depends how economically beneficial it is too you, if they are solid leads and you're able to close them easily or if they are garbage or not

I would train a virtual assistant to do it for me. I know what kind of leads I'm looking for.

It just take too much time in my day where I could be doing higher impact activities like calling, demo, emails...

this has ether been the job of the SDR or my self as an AE.

i like to have some control over this.

If i can control what accounts I am going after, or the accounts my SDR is going after I have more confidence that any meeting set will be worth my time.
