Pay raise without promotion?

Question

I saw another thread about asking for a pay raise after 1 year. In my mind, asking for a promotion, is the raise. But, if its normal to ask for a raise after exceeding your goals then I figured I would take a stab at it. If I'm on 50/50 split, and they do give me a raise, wouldn't that also mean that I need to bring in more revenue as well, making it harder for me to hit kickers?

Of course, promotions don't always equal a pay raise, and vice versa.

I've gotten a raise sans promotion before. Whether that increases your commission expectation is different from one company to another.

come to think of it, I've never been promoted in my life. Don't know what to think of it but that's the truth.

Linkedin is the worst place to go for a demo first. It’s where you can have a great conversational approach (because people kill time there and you can catch them live in their slacking off time) to have a convo building into a interest call.
