Personality types in sales.

Got bored, took a personality test at 16personalities.com and apparently I'm a "campaigner" or type ENFP-A. Read through the overview and I would say it feels pretty accurate.

Got me wondering if Sales is heavily stacked in any particular type.

I have run many different personality assessments on my team(s) over the years snd funny enough have never been able to identify any consistent “personality type” to correlate to success in selling. I’m a huge introvert (seriously large crowds make me massively uncomfortable) and yet I’ve met other sales leaders who legit light up a room with their extroverted charm.

Sounds like you're very well suited for selling complex enterprise solutions. I don't think any one personality type is better than the other when it comes to sales. It just determines your personal approach to the job.
