AI sales reps are shit and will be for some time and as anyone whos ever worked support can attest to nobody actually wants to talk to a robot when they need a problem solved

Not sure on context but if you're referring to the increasing influence of AI in sales vs a more traditional selling model...depends on type of product / service (value / complexity / customization etc) as well as the sales role (SDR/BDR vs AE etc). No reason why AI type resources cannot be leveraged as part of the sales motion (to help understand buyer intent, or lack of, automate processes etc), but AI will not be a [successful/complete] replacement to human inputs....people buy from people (but AI can help to give you quicker access to target audience at the optimum time with the most effective messaging).

Sales will be fine. AI is really taking over the Security Manager industry. The more senior the security manager, the more concerned they should be.
