Started a new company and new industry beginning 2021 and love the change of roles. Still in sales but admittedly the first 3 months were to get ramped and understand what the heck I was even selling. Because of that my metrics are far behind and I won't hit quota without a couple of huge wins that are 50/50.
That said i was put on a 2 month pip and there have been rumors of vaccine layoffs for those who don't have the vaccine (even though i am 100% remote)
The first thought was fix the problem and grow my business, as $$ solves everything in sales. But the timing of things makes me wonder if I should be looking around. Thoughts?
