Pitch, Passion, Hustle

As sales professionals we all know about the pitch, but have you ever thought about the other two parts to the sales equation, passion and hustle? You can do good with just the pitch, but have you ever imagined how amazing you could be with the rest of the equation? Lets break this down a little. Yes, yes, I know that we all use a pitch that has been tried and true, or we just create our own great pitch, but you have to have passion for what you are pitching. When you have that passion your clients can see that in your pitch, which in turn will give you a better close rate and success rate. The last part of the equation is hustle. You have to hustle in everything that you do. When you are not growing you are dying. The hustle is what will propel you to find new clients or opportunities, which will help you grow and be the best you can be. Let me ask you what is the most important part of the equation to you? What advice would you give a new sales professional to be successful, using this equation? What part of the equation do you need to work on to be the best that you can be?

What is the most important part of the sales equation?

You can be passionate about something, but if you don't hustle your ass off, then what's the point of having that passion?

Without the passion, the rest of it will fall apart.

I have to agree with you. It may not fall apart at first but it eventually will.

Passion always! All of these factors are important but without passion you're just a dead fish

Hustle. I've made deals where the pitch sucked and I didn't even want to be there. Persistence above all else!

I have been in the same boat as well. We all know that saying fake it til you make it, but do you think that the hustle would have worked without the passion?

Yes. I have no soul. Hustle above all else. Passion rarely pays the bills.

If I have to pick I lean passion, but you need a mix of all three in my opinion.

I think it’s interesting to see that passion and hustle are evenly tied
