Platforms like Sendoso or Postal.io - When to send a gift?

Hey Soldiers,

New to using postal.io at my company and was just wondering what type of success everyone has had with sending platforms. Moreover, I would just love some insight into the best ways to go about taking advantage of these awesome tools?

  • When should you send a gift vs. when you should not?
  • What stage do you start to send gifts?
  • Should you only try to use your budget for prospects that you have made contact with?
  • Are they beneficial in cold outreach?
  • Is there more success when using to increase hold rates, and build upon relationships?

Would love to hear about everyone's experience using these kinds of platforms, and what type of success you may have seen using them.

Thanks everyone!

We use Alyce as a trial in AMER. Right now marketing has the power on accounts we can use them on. Our managers have sequences with them as a touch point.ย

For the most part the team is just following directive of seniors on this.ย

Understood. Yeah we don't currently have any direction with it. It's more or less fire out some gift cards and let's see who books time with us. Just trying to nail down what types of communication methods work best for utilizing these sorts of platforms on the day to day.ย

Alyce is great! We typically use it as a cold door opener (it can require a prospect to schedule time w/ your rep). gifting definitely increases show rates when it comes to cold prospectingย

we also use it mid-cycle w/ prospects who are trending towards a sale.

2 cool things about Alyce is they have thousands of gifts to choose from, so I donโ€™t have to manage any inventory & thereโ€™s an AI that shows social profiles like Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. it makes it really easy to be personal with giftingย

thereโ€™s also this feature that lets the recipient choose a gift they actually want.ย
EX: say you sent someone golf balls because they posted on LinkedIn about golf. They can still exchange the gift for a bottle of wine or maybe an art set for their kids. Tons of
optionsย

Looking for insight into the best ways to utilize. I don't see it having much success with cold outreach, but I have yet to really dive in as we were presented with our instance late last week.ย

If you happen to come across any information, please feel free to share here!ย

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
I've been skeptical of these types of things so I'd be very curious to hear some stories of people leveraging gifting effectively.

You gotta send them. I don't think they work as well as they used to but you still gotta send em.
