Political Correctness

How does an individual seller survive in an uber PC company culture? It’s not that I am particularly offensive - I just don’t get all that excited about overturning the Heteropatriarchy.

Find a new company to work for that more closely aligns with your values. You're not going to be able to change the culture, and you're not going to enjoy being in an atmosphere where leadership's focus is on pushing something that doesn't resonate with you.

I too am tired of wokeness and PC to the extreme stuff being shoved down my throat. Thankfully my company focuses on the work at hand and social/racial/gender issues are not pushed or really discussed other than "treat everyone with respect and don't be an asshole."

Ain't no shame on that. But DO try to be as much as yourself as possible, you don't want to die in the inside either. So find a friend that has your humor. IDK there should be someone somewhere hahaha

Stay quite.  I work for a mostly great company with a great product and culture but they are hyper "woke" as an example, there is a bot in our slack that calls you out if you use "guys" as it is noninclusive of all genders.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
To quote Futurama's episode at the Slurm Factory, "Keep your head down and keep your mouth shut." Just do your job, say very little, make that money for a few years and bolt.

I work at a woke tech company and it’s mostly fine- I just act like working there is my job and it mostly doesn’t affect or censor what I would normally say since I’m not into talking politics or anything with colleagues anyway. I just kind of do my thing and hasn’t been that bad
