Please be honest. And if you'd like to elaborate why you chose the answer you did in the comments, I'd be even more grateful.

Would be very disappointed if it goes away. In terms of overall collaboration, I think this platform has no equal. There have been some great threads on prospecting, interview tips, sales cycle advice, and others that would be difficult to find elsewhere.

Plus - would be much harder to rally a response against the LI posts berating other savages.

Agreed with all of this. This is the only "social media" platform I use.

I look foward to watching this community grow, and seeing what else we can do with it. I would love to see private messages to make connections with other users, and a job posting/referral component so we can help each other succeed.

Curious, how long have you been in the war room? I recently joined and super excited to dive into more sales-related topics!

I'm currently on a regional Teams meeting and had to respond immediately.

There is no other forum like this. I've picked up strategic tactics that I haven't thought of in the 17 years I've been in sales. The advice, guidance, support, and laughs - where am I supposed to get that greatness? LinkedIn? Boy please 😏

Just curious what prompted this post @sahil

Is the War Room not landing the way you hoped / expected?

Is the possibility of pulling it a real consideration?

Nope. It's called the Sean Ellis Test. It's a way to measure product love.

Had me scared too Cadence!!! 🤯

I've actually gained confidence to where I made my first sales meme on LinkedIn. Which I never do because of the prospects that I'm connected with. But you know what? I'm human! I should be 100% me regardless of the damn platform. Fuck what other people think.

Only been here a few days and I really like it. I was in Corp Bro’s slack channel and the slack medium isn’t ideal for these types of conversations. Forum based communities work better in my opinion. I think we’ll need to increase some of the resource sharing and stuff like that to really make it scale and last but it’s nice to be able to call things as they really are and not have it follow you back to your personal life.

I would be disappointed.

The War Room is a place where Sales Professional can unite as a community that is otherwise stigmatized. For me, it's been a place of great introspection and a resource of information and best practices that I hope to utilize in my own career.

It's also been a welcomed distraction to the daily grind.

Thanks @sahil and @GeneralCorp

@sahil  I voted wrong and can't change my vote - I read the question quickly as "How do you feel about the War Room?" and answered, "not disappointed". At any rate, I think this platform has a wealth of knowledge. I wish there was a way to view other member's past comments. As an example, (apologies if this is a weird call out) I feel like @LordBusiness, @CadenceCombat and a few others comments usually resonate with my selling style and I think it would be interesting to see how they comment on different topics. Hate to miss out on valuable insight!

@sahil I'm only able to see peoples' posts in their profiles, not comments. Am I missing something?

I am loving the engagement and the different sales language that is used. I have worked in the US (Chicago) and I must say the use of the word Quota is bringing back a lot of good memories.

I love reading other people’s questions and comments. I enjoy learning from my peers in an anonymous way. No competition. Pure curiosity and helping other sales people. Nothing better.

I like it and agree with @BigMeech that I would be disappointed if it goes away.

I think knowing how to search and find information makes it more or less valulable, but there has been some really great threads on topics.

I think it's key that the platform really isn't about contributors promoting one "brand."  A refreshing change.

How long has War Room been open exactly? I just started this week. The only thing I feel is a lack of people involved so far.

I just joined but it’s so nice to have a place to ask questions/ learn from other sales people. My coworker sent me Corp bro Q4 video a last year and I’ve never felt so understood. Sales is a freaking ridiculous career - like we all must be nuts. Lol. Would be great to add live stream messaging (ie ask expert have a sales methodology leader for example -Sandler ie) or video content here and be able to message users.

@sahil It's got a ways to go and I can tell how much work you and the team are putting into it with the constant new features. I've learned a lot from passively browsing LI, but this can be on another level with the Anonymity because purely useful advice will make it to the top. The "Hot" tab will help me find that stuff more often.

I'd like to see some more industry specific polls, topics, and tips. Some of it can be buried, but if you threw your weight behind it or made it "official" it could get a ton of traction and help. Maybe weekly "people who sell into X, what would you tell a savage new to the field" type posts.

This place is awesome. Love reading everyone's thoughts and perspectives.  Great to validate all the struggles that I go through aren't mine alone haha.

One comment, and mind you I don't have a solution for but still calling it out; Sometimes it feels like there are just too many posts and some really good ones get drowned out by volume so there isn't a large response to ones I am particularly interested in.  That's probably always going to be a challenge with a community this large.

Couldn't imagine what I'd fill the gaps in my day with if this went away!

Crap, I didn't read the question fully, I answered it like @sahil wrote the most self-depreciating poll. You can minus 1 from Not Disappointed and add it to Very Disappointed.

In about the first week here I had a difficult situation at work, posted the scenario and got tons of helpful positive feedback. This is a really good place for collaboration and information sharing. If it were shut down it would be frustrating as well as a missed opportunity.

I really love this platform and I wholeheartedly agree with what everyone has said so far. One thing that has made me not engage as much as I’d want however, is that you can see the ”post history” on the profile pages. Paranoid as I am, it would be fairly easy for my sales colleagues and managers to connect the dots in stories/questions I might share and thus know who I am and track what I’m writing. Again, completely paranoid I know, but does that make sense?
