Hey Savages,

I just wanted to share that I know for a fact the real identity of someone in the War Room...

This individual is straight up lying about their role and salary, which makes me wonder if any of their stories are actually true.

I know because the person's LI doesn't match their statements.

I think the point of the War Room is to support each other and to be 100% REAL since they don't know our identities.

Sadly, it seems that ego gets in the way and humans are still thirsty for attention, even if it is for a fucking anonymous profile.

This makes me wonder, how many others are lying as well?

A few users have alt accounts, and there are periodic bot wars where we get a group of 10-15 AI accounts randomly engaging on conversations on threads. It’s super funny when you find it, it makes no sense and total gibberish.

But yes, there are bots. They are doing what they can to remove them though

There’s a lot of people, usually the ones that become sales trainers lol, that know all the right things to say but can’t do it themselves. They’ll have one successful anecdote and build an entire persona off of that. It’s like the success coaches that became successful by talking about success. So circular. I wouldn’t doxx them if I were you. Allow them to live in peace in this part of the web.

There are definitely inflated stories, but like any social platform, I find you will only see the best and worst days of people's lives. No one writes posts about perfectly average day-to-day stuff.

I post my big deals and travel stories, I don't post about the times I keep showing up 10 mins late and the boss grills me, deals lost due to price, or how I spend 90% of the year writing emails and quotes no one will read twice, if even once.

We all want to feel cool in our own way. In the words of Marky Mark: "I'm a peacock captain, you gotta let me fly!"

I always remember the saying "One lie makes you a liar". I find myself cautioning our team all the time that being honest with customers is always better than lying. Keeping track of the truth is simple, liars get caught and never trusted again.

Same goes for the big fish storytelling person. Eventually someone will hear it and actually know the facts or hear it a second time when it's even more outlandish and call bullshit.
