Position revised - Help

Currently enrolled in the fire academy, expected my job to let me go when I told them but they are happy to keep me 3 days a week.

6 weeks later I get a call from the owners saying that I haven't traveled as much as they would like and need me to make more "milk boy runs". My school is all day Tuesday and thursdays so I can't travel over night as only get M/W/F to work. This is the first time I've had any issues with the owners after 1.5 years being employed.

My numbers are good, when I joined, the company bought in 2m, 9 months later the company did 2.5m in 2020 and is invoicing on average 250k per month from my sales, on route to 3m for 2021.

How would you respond/react to this?

They could be feeling some type of way because they're worried about you leaving, so are taking it out on you for by being unreasonable. Maybe ask to have a sit down chat with them and get everything in the open, will be a good opportunity to hear what that have to say as well as getting your side across

I mean you figured they’d let you go when you told them so is it just extra cash you don’t need??? If yes you can be like peace if you’re dissatisfied

How much are you making from this? If its not substantial you could look at bartending or something else with easier hours and fast money while you finish school.

$60k plus 2-4K monthly commissions, for mental health I might just do so

I mean that's pretty solid, I would hang on until you can't anymore and when you reach that point, get a part time restaurant job.

The good days ended today unfortunately, So will be enjoying some time off and hunting my commissions that are owed.
