To maintain a facade of credibility of choice, I think. 2 party system, staunch believers on both sides, and the electoral college....

Did they look credible last night lol, two grown people that hate each other spitting out whatever they want . I think social media serves a better purpose to learn about candidates and their topics. I feel that these debates all for show and it solidifies your choice way more than changes it per there policies , beliefs
Social media is responsible for an awful lot of misinformation. And it has been since people first discovered chat rooms before the turn of the century. People in general are pretty damned stupid online.

Typically I agree... however, we have already seen one candidate removed from the process!!

It was interesting. My takeaways:
(1) Kamala did her homework and was VERY well prepped. She had a gameplan and stuck to it (ie. goading Trump into being his usually a-hole self). She proved that she's surrounded herself with competent people who she actually listens to.
They trained her on her verbal and non-verbal presentation skills. Very smart.
If you liked her before, you still like her. She didn't embarrass herself like she's done in the past.
(2) Trump is Trump. If you liked him before the debate, you still like him. Nothing's changed. He's smart and probably has smart people around him, but he doesn't really listen to them.
In the end, Trump is gonna win. I don't like him, but Kamala isn't better (and IMO worse) and at least we know what Trump's all about (himself).
