Prospect's gone dark? Try the FW:

Saw this on Reddit a while ago and tested it out myself. It worked! Here it is:

Getting close to the end of the quarter and your client isn't responding to your emails? Something that has worked well for me in the past is the forward. I'm not sure I completely understand the psychology, but the response rate is significant.

Here is an example of how it works. Let's say you and a customer have discussed a possible deal and structure at length, but they don't have a formal proposal. You are trying to push things along but also gauge if they are really interested or not. Perhaps you've sent an email and tried to call to see where things go next...no response. Have your manager (or someone else in the organization) send you an email. One I've used in the past is something along the lines of "Please provide an update on the proposal for XYZ. Sales Ops is requesting final approvals be submitted no later than CoB Wednesday. With the discount levels and concessions we will be requesting, we can't afford to have this one hanging out there. Signed, your manager"

Now you fwd: that note to the customer, with you adding something like: Would really appreciate a quick discussion on timing. Viola! Can be used in multiple scenarios and for some reason has been effective in getting a response. Got any tactics tha work well for you?

Cool tip! I haven't heard that one before but I can see how it might help.
