Prospecting on Monday

Is Monday a good day for prospecting? Some people say yeah and others say it's a good admin day but curious what people on here think.

Prospecting any day is good. Contact sport the more people you contact the luckier you are gonna get. If you take a day off your competiton isnt and you lose ground. Sure mondays suck, but there are only 5 days anyways you want to go to 4? May as well kill fridays too. Tuesdays suck too cause monday spills over, wednesday is hump day. See whats happening here, call all day everyday lol

I don't call people first thing Monday morning, most people are crabby and dealing with urgent shit that came in. Monday morning past 10 am ish it's game on, though.

The only time I don't think it's worth it to prospect are Fridays after lunch, especially in the summer. I use that time for admin/to prepare for the week ahead.

For any day, as you stay upbeat, Prospecting works. I'd still plan a Friday off for this and prepare the next week plan

I know our company treats Mondays as a meeting day, so it's harder to prospect but @Coffeesforclosers makes a good point that you can't really waste any day of the week.

Everyday is a good day for prospecting. Having someone pick up the phone, or open an email is mainly blind luck. 

You will never know if you don't try.

Yeah, I think so. I hate being bothered on Monday since I'm usually still half in weekend mode but I find most people are pretty available on Monday and happy to do anything to avoid work, including listening to a sales pitch.

I am a big believer in Monday/Friday as research days and Tuesday-Thursday as pound the outbound days. Obviously you can be successful any day but I see the most success for myself and others mid-week

I always leave Monday for follow ups...cuz it is recovery day from the weekend, and I am most the time not 100% on my game...

My favorite is to send my emails Sunday night so they are atop inboxes and follow up with a call on Monday
