I have two SDRs, but most of my closed deals come from my own prospecting efforts. Not to say my SDRs don't source good meetings, but historically the closed deals were ones I sourced.
Our marketing team actually gets us leads. First company I've been at where this is the case
My former company did the same. BDRs we’re under the CMO and Marketing umbrella. They qualified hard and leads were legit.
I get zero leads. Everything is on me.
I do my own.
Me, myself and I. All outbound, no marketing team, no inbounds, nada.
I like both. But ideally (depending on the product) I’d have one or two really good SDRs who are hunting for me. From experience, I was never super effective doing both but my conversation rate is always higher with self sourced deals.
My first job we had a call Center booking meetings for us. Would love to have an sdr now.
How was the quality of those meetings? I never worked with outsourced SDRs and generally I hear that the quality of those meetings set are not great.

We only have one SDR now as it’s being built out as a function, so pretty much all self sourced for now.

3 BDR's work my accounts with me, however I'm constantly looking to top up the funnel myself.
