Prospects who like soccer ⚽?

Ok savages, curious how you'd approach this:

Local MLS club is playing an English premier team in a friendly.

I'm sure for some people this would be a huge draw. Other's couldn't care less.

Any ideas how I could find out which prospects in my territory are into soccer, without finding them all on Facebook and browsing their interests?

Take like let's say your top 5. Research those. Are there any local fan groups on LinkedIn? If you find one connection, you may find several.

Also, what if you came out and asked? Is that frowned upon?

I was thinking about the direct approach as well.

I can ask, but just wanted to be more surgical.

Surprise, we have a "growth hacker" who says he can help.

So marketing is good for something!

I'm interested in if they are able to provide any results.

I'll let you know. He seemed confident he could write a script to crawl social media pages and find some people. I'll let you know if it works or typical marketing.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
He can't. Just ask people directly.

Yes, I agree, what's the problem of simply just asking?

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
Send out a mass email to people saying your company bought X# of tickets and ask if anyone wants to go.

It may come to this, but wondering if I can hone in on soccer fans vs blast.

I honestly can’t think of a way unless you go full FB on them. And even then…

Yeah, have done this in the past to targets of mine when we had events like this.  I used it as a way to find out what they were interested in:  "I have tickets to this great soccer event for you +1 - interested?"  (you might get them wanting to take their kid who is totally into soccer and then you are a hero).  If they respond and say "thanks, but no soccer fans here" you could use that to ask them what they are interested in, so you know for future events, and build out your contact records accordingly.

Since it's you, I'm assuming this is a tactic you've used in the past, so really just putting this out there for others.  ;)
