"Pushy" is the new black?

Do you consider acting pushy is the best sales practice?

What other practices do you use to close a deal faster?

This is a dumb question...who would want to be known as "pushy?"

Agreed. This is stupid. Are you even in sales? Have you ever come across a pushy sales person and been like ‘I want to do business with this person again’?

Please bring back downvoting. I feel like my IQ is starting to slip reading this garbage.

We're on the same page, dude. A lot of trash content to wade through lately and it's only going to get worse as they let more people in if they don't bring downvotes back. I know the team is working hard to find a solution but it can't come soon enough.

People want to buy from people they like - not people who push them.

Don’t validate this post with a real answer @paddy sweet lord, please. This is the dumbest shit.

Yes, as salespeople, sometimes you apply a little pressure. Fucking duh. This is the laziest and least intellectual way to frame a discussion around that.

Hey, here’s another great post for you. “Does showcasing value lead to more deals?!” Derrrrr 🥴

But never to be shown publicly that you're pushy🙃

If I want to be pushed, I'll go to a used car lot in a rural area and kick a few tires.

Pushy is (and always will be) the quickest way to get hung up on... NOT the "new black".

You don't have to be "pushy" to fight through objections in a polite/professional way.

There is a difference between pushy and persistent. Internally you want to be pushy to get things done for your customer. But never be pushy on your customers that's why there is a certain Cadence for dealing with your prospects.

Totally agree. I would draw the line the same way: pushy to get things done for your customer.

You suck, dude. Just admit your post is trash and stop pretending this has any kind of merit.

Post like these actually make me feel embarrassed to be part of this community.

There is no golden answer to that - balancing the role/position in each situation is probably the best. certainly nobody wants to be the famous of being 'pushy'

"Pushy" the right way is needed to close deals and make people move. Talking or asking about the next steps is critical. Without a bit of pressure, sales don't happen as often in my experience.

Pushy is not an ideal trait for a salesperson of any kind.
