MBA is only worth it if it's from a top 20 institution with name recognition. Unless your company will pay for it the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

I don't have a business degree. Lowly communication degree from a public school. I've held multiple director and above positions at public companies. Most of the enablement and ops leadership at my present org (Fortune 100 tech company) don't have MBAs, they have experience doing the actual work.
