If you are looking for info on cadences and messaging, I'd suggest checking out Sam Nelson from Outreach's LinkedIn page. He has a pretty awesome sequence called the Agoge sequence that I've implemented in the past with pretty great success.

I would suggest checking out a Salesloft or an Outreach. We hit the maximum utility of the sequencing tool, which is very limited in it's capabilities. You can send 5 automate emails, after which they move to a task-based system, which can get heavy AF when you look at how many people a rep will enroll at scale.

However, if this is the tool you have to work with, then make it work for you by mixing in calls, emails, even LinkedIn in-mail/connection requests. Keep it funky, and practice good data hygiene.

yeah i've always had salesloft + salesforce as a stack but at my current company this is what we got.

question on - "You can send 5 automate emails, after which they move to a task-based system" ... those automated emails, what's the function? do they just run or can you change days, etc.

You can customize the days and send times per contact--even the copy if you want to get personalized. It's automated as in you don't have to kick it off.

Sprinkle every channel: Call/Email/LinkedIn. I typically have 4-5 emails per sequence. These are spread out about 2-4 days. Calls are every other day. First and last having a voicemail. LinkedIn can be connect then over ~7 days of engaging with content send over a message with a resource/soft ask.

I've used sequences and they are awesome if done right.

My two best tips are use video during the cycle and make it super personalised.

For the break up email when you don't get a response I use either the 123 email or close the file both get good response rates
