I'm calling bullshit. "I talked to dozens of business owner who said..." Fuck off. Personally I don't think the word love is the problem, I think it's the seller saying what they would love to do instead basing their messaging around what benefits the buyer.

yeah in my mind its not the word love its how its used, the context, and the strength of the message.
normally in an out reach message if you say something like "id love to find time to connect" its not a very strong sentence. especially if they have not asked to connect with YOU yet.
but i dont think its the word LOVE its probably the fact that you have not created a good enough reason for them to connect with you yet
