Re: Prospecting in India

Hi all, just following up in regards to my post on prospecting in India.


Now working with the SMB AE over in India, and fielding all the MQL's that are coming (the scoring is really low so we get >50 per day from India, mostly ebook downloads).


The response rate is fairly decent actually and many clients want to talk.


My question is, as it's out of my timezone when customers are wanting to call, is it considered rude if I ask them just to fill out a pre-discovery call questionnaire for some initial qualification, field the notes and then make a judgement call whether to handover to the AE or not?


Or does best practice trump and just get on calls >10:00pm to try and qualify them?

Wassup fam, fairly same situation. Not sure if ya targeting the central or pacific timezone but CST/EST before noon are like 9 pm to us! Don't send out questionnaires please, they don't answer it well even if they do you miss out on the business understanding. My thoughts? Crush the phone from 8 pm - 12 am and you practically even catch PST at 11 am. Trust me, if they have a fair enough response rate, just pick up that phone!! Prospect in the evening, reach out at night, take the day off xD

Got it, ended up making a calendly link for India specifically Friday evenings. I'll try and knock out all the calls in one single Evening per week!ย
