I made a post here last year about cold calling. Did upwards of 300 calls a day. Realized my talents were better spent elsewhere with a better product.
Since then I’ve worked in the D2D space for 3 quarters. The money is FANTASTIC (we all know what industry). But I realized it’s a bit too physically demanding for me (psychologically more so but people forget about the hours of standing everyday).
With that said, truly nothing can phase me anymore. I’ve been through all kinds of situations. Showing up uninvited to someone’s home will build character like nothing else.
In comparison, I would honestly welcome cold calling 8 hours a day as a breathe of fresh air lol. What are the higher paid cold calling jobs? Financial services? Insurance? Would prefer an industry that can use power dialers so I can just rip through the list. I’m really not a fan of full lifecycle management. My talent is just cold approaching, talking and setting,
