Received an auto response from a prospect... I'm not even mad, I'm impressed

Hello and thank you for your email,

Every day I receive an overwhelming amount of unsolicited emails from vendors and service providers. Managing these emails takes up an increasingly large part of my time.  So, please read carefully.

If this is a sales related email, whatever you're trying to sell me, there is no budget.

XXXXXX does not invest much in Marketing and we are very prudent about our investments. There is no fixed budget for software, we can't use managed services, we can't offshore, nearshore or outsource anything. You will not get access inside our network or to any internal data, including SFDC.

If I have an interest in your offerings, I will get back to you. If you do not hear back, I am either not interested or I am keeping your email and info on file for consideration at a later date.

Please don't keep sending me emails asking what I thought about the previous emails. Please don't reach out to me on LinkedIn. Please don't call me. If there is interest. I will get back to you.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,

I wouldn't call him; I would send him one more email with all the info he needs and let him know I respect his decision. that way I stand out and I'm not annoying

This exactly. Refer to his response and just send him the info he would need to assess your product.

Of course, he'll feel heard, which is the most important!

This person sounds like the worst buyer who has a massive barrier at the front of his brain where even if you got the meeting he would be reluctant to tell you truthfully his business challenges and would only focus on price. Complete waste of time to even take a meeting w someone like this

"Sorry, my outreach sequence just noticed your email as an automatic reply and I kept you sequenced. Anyway, do you care if I take a couple seconds and tell you the reason for my call?"

I'm actually not mad at this either. I wonder if you'd get the same automated response from a different contact in the same company?

As long as I don't offer what he specifically said he doesn’t need I would call him

We definitely offer what he said he doesn't need or wouldn't allow access to (sfdc)

In that case I wouldn't reach out.

I kind of love it. I would leave him alone just out of respect tbh.

That's where I am at. Am I prospecting others in the account? Yes. Has this guy earned me leaving him alone? Yes.

That's actually pretty nice - I would follow up on the company itself to make sure if I can provide any value in the near future. That's it.

Wow, he really took the time to be assertive. Would anyone reply to that? What?

I feel like most prospects don't even put up OOO responses when they're gone! My territory is in Canada and they take vacation seriously up there. There are times where I literally get an email back 2 months later (when there was no OOO) where they respond - "Sorry for the slight delay! I've been in Italy for the last 8 weeks!"

I think he just keeps OOO on for all emails

Did you ever thought about Video Prospecting?

Vidyard are killing it with it and we started to implement it at our company as well and it's making some positve ROI so far.

As long as your message is honest and transparent most of the prospect will appreciate seeing a human on the other side and not some Marketing AI driven email machine. ;)

Yeah I actively use Vidyard and think that it is great. Based on his email they would never use our solution because of using their data

It's my job to call, I'm here to help you.

I'm not gonna stop until you tell me to, your job is to tell me when to stop, mine is to keep calling.
