RED FLAG - Marketing Banks on Cameo

How big of a red flag is it that my start up company thinks Cameos are the best form of marketing... this is why I hate marketing - no real leads can come from a cameo or Shooter McGavin..

see thats going to be a no for me. See I made a comment earlier tonight that I guess went out over the air that I am deeply ashamed of. If I have hurt anyone out there, I can't tell you how much I say from the bottom of my heart I'm so very, very sorry. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith, as there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that'll be a home run. And so that'll make it a 4-0 ballgame. I don't know if I'm going to be putting on this headset again. I don't know if it's going to be for the Reds.

Ha! Please don't come for me, but I love Cameo. If it's actually someone relevant to your audience and it's cheap enough, it's worth it. But definitely don't expect leads from that. If your marketing team thinks they're gonna get leads from a Cameo, that's foolish.
