I will comment this sentence on here until I am blue in the face, but my mental health/salesmanship has increased exponentially when I began to detach my self-worth from my quota attainment. Something that I discuss with all of my reps/colleagues.ย
At the bare minimum, sales is a numbers game. And in B2B sales you are losing just as often as you are winning (in some industries, it is "good" to have a close ratio of 20%. That is perfectly okay. The losses are learning opportunities to make sure you know how to increase that ratio.ย
