Remote SAAS AE’s - what’s your wardrobe?

Seems allover the map, curious what you wear. To me, a suit and tie while sitting in your own house with a camera facing you is overdone, though I have seen it. I have also seen reps in t shirts which is too far the other way.

Are OCBD’s too casual? What about polos? What’s your go to?

Exactly. What I wear depends entirely on the customer or prospect. No t shirts ever.

Tshirt and/or hoodie. Jeans or twill joggers. Jordans or boots. I'll toss on a button-down or 1/4 zip sweater if I'm joining a rep on a call.

No marketing, mayo isn't an MQL
1/4 zip is the 🐐 for meeting dressed needs but also being comfy.

Crew neck or hoodie unless I’m meeting with a VP or C-level, in which case I go button down.

Sweats and slippers all day.

Sweats/yoga pants, some type of plain t-shirt and a cardigan to make it look a little nicer.

Most of my prospects/customers wear casuals so I am either wearing a polo or plain tee. I don't want to kill them by overdressing myself and a suit....never :-)

Step 1: Join meeting
Step 2: See what the prospect is wearing
Step 3: excuse yourself for a moment run to your wardrobe and grab whatever they are wearing

But in all seriousness I usually wear a t shirt, maybe a button down or company branded hoodie, nothing crazy. Bottoms are shorts or sweatpants.

Rotate the same 7 t shirts. I do have a button down linen webinar shirt that I wear for webinars. Most of my video stuff is with law firm partners or c level people. They are dressed the same.

I try to wear a nice shirt every day, but I am also wearing a hat most of the time... Seems that most of my contacts, internally and externally, are pretty casual

I keep it casual here as well! Only time I switch it up to something fancier is if I have a big client presentation. Company T's are nice as well as just plain ones. I stay away from hats though. A lot of my colleagues where them during meetings so I know the team would be okay with it, but it's just a preference thing for me

Polo, collared dress shirt, vest, or sweater. Whatever I feel like on the bottom.

Pretty much a v neck every day. I’ll switch to a button-down if I’m customer facing but my colleagues get to see my investment in Arizona v necks.

Polo for internal and low-level calls.

Oxford's for mid-high level.

Blazer over top for C-level's and foreign prospects where culture dictates.

T-shirt or hoodie... I don't dress up for client calls unless it's really important, then I'll wear a polo but that's not even dressed up much. Pandemic really made me start dressing like a bum

Kit & Ace up top normally, and then shorts down low (mostly for airflow)

as others have said, if it’s an important or high dollar deal and prospect, i have hair and makeup done with a nice top.

I rock a t-shirt tbh. I try to go for the ones with the 3 buttons at the top so it looks a little less casual.

Then when it's time to talk pricing and negotiate I'll pull out a short sleeve button down

i wear sweatpants or workout leggings with Crocs on the bottom (Crocs4lyfe) and on top I wear a black workout tank. When I have any meetings, I throw on a black blazer and it looks like I'm just wearing black on black with a dressed up jacket. WFH hacks
