Remote work + easing lockdowns = IRL meetings?

Since I'm in an all remote role till who knows when, I'm contemplating inviting my prospects/leads to in person meet and greets over coffee.

They probably go out to do grocery shopping and having a life on weekends like I do since lockdowns are easing.

I'm thinking this may work especially for ones who tend to be social and builds soft rapport since email communication is probably becoming an overkill by this point.

I have always liked personal meetings, if you and your prospect are comfortable with it, I'd go for it! Do what works best for you and your style. Just be safe!!ย

As long as you are asking if they are comfortable with it sure. If they aren't then offer a virtual coffee meeting and send them an e-giftcard.

Don't see any reason why not. It May not be everyone's jam, but for some people, it will be.ย

I never stopped. Granted, it was in accordance with nyc guidelines. So when it was outdoors only, we met outdoors. Now I meet them wherever, provided everyone is vaccinated.ย

Our company has done happy hours, dinners and lunches over the last few months when it makes sense and I am currently planning a happy hour in NYC with clients and prospects (I'm west coast). Most people are on board with things like this so I say go for it!ย

Personal meetings are the best, sadly I do not think that these will ever be that popular again because of the ease of working from home.ย
