Remote work/ stay with it?

Ever since March last year I’m sure we’ve all been working remotely. To me it’s been a challenge, I love the freedom and the ability to set my own schedule, but honestly I feel less productive then sitting in an office surrounded by my peers.

what are some things you do during the day to help regain focus? Recently I’ve had to disconnect my TVs, and find my self lacking focus

I hear ya. The lack of compartmentalization between work and home is a challenge. That's why I decided to eat some vacation days to recalibrate.

With travel being so restricted i have not even wanted to take a vacation. Funny I use to love working from home when everything was open and now that it’s been the normal for a year I’m realizing It’s not as nice as I thought it was

Get outside more. Be around people as much as possible. I go into coffee shops in the AM then head back home to knock out daily routine of meetings/calls.

I started giving myself fake commuted in the morning, up, dressed, then a walk for about 25 minutes, it was working for a while. I’m over in new york so coffee spots have been tough to get into lately.

Been using the Pomodoro method for deep focus- 25 minutes of pure focus, no slack/email/phone, and then 5 minutes of break. rinse and repeat. Been using it in the morning before reps are awake to get stuff done!
